Most of us already know that this isn’t magnesium. It’s a ‘ferro rod,’ snd we also know this is what we really are looking for, anyhow. This ferro rod produces pretty good and hearty sparks, which is what we really want, too. There is a little liquid filled compass which works and the handle is a whistle. All in all its a good thing!!
The size of this is not tinsey! Great size for arthritic hands. I haven't used it yet though. For emergency. Thank you!
