Tents

Tents are not only used for hiking and camping, they are portable shelters. If you have a tent, regardless of where you go, you have your shelter with you.

Example of setting up a 1 man tent.

Before taking your tent on a camping trip, set it up and make sure it does not have any holes, tears or missing parts. When taking tents down, its easy to over look tent stakes that are in the ground. So you may not know that a piece is missing until the tent is set back up.

Here we are at the beach for my buddies wedding. There was not enough room in the beach house for everyone. So we brought out tents and setup on the edge of the yard. Which put us only about 100 feet from the water.
