CNN caught censoring the newsPlease Rate This Article Have you ever wondered if the major news outlets are telling you the truth, and especially the “whole” truth? CNN has recently been caught censoring the news. This report comes from Milwaukee after the shooting of Sylville Smith. Let’s not get into the details of why Sylville […]
On December 13, 2013 Karl Pierson walked into Arapaho high school, shot one student and then killed himself.
Usually this would have been major news for weeks, with anti-gun advocates coming out of the woodwork like roaches. There should have been renewed calls for gun control with president Obama addressing the nation for the need for tighter restrictions and background checks.
So what makes this school shooting different?
The shooter used a shotgun.
The shooter legally bought the firearm.
Shooter was left leaning communist democrat
A good guy with a gun put a quick end to the violence.
The only reason Dianne Feinstein and obama are talking about gun control, is to make the liberals happy, and to say they did “something” after the Aurora Colorado and Sandy Hook shootings.
Why would Dianne Feinstein and Obama be faking the call for gun control?
Because the proposed laws are too radical.
Proposed Gun Tax
Poll taxes were struck down. The government can not charge a fee or tax on a right. There is no fee to go to church, there is no fee or tax to vote, there is no special government fee or tax to read a newspaper or watch the evening news.
The gun control act of 1934 set reasonable limits on the ownership of fully automatic weapons. People can still own fully automatic weapons, but thy have to jump through hoops to do so.
Dianne Feinsteins proposal to pay a tax on a right will not stand up in court, and she knows it. But to make the liberal left happy, she has to introduce “something” in the wake of Sandy Hook. This is why Dianne Feinstein keeps getting relected, because she appeals to liberals.
There is an article on Foxnews that describes how stupid lawmakers are – States, cities mulling own assault-weapon bans, amid doubt over federal action.
The problem is not the guns, the root cause of the issue is mentally ill people and a broke legal system.
Someone walks into a movie theater and starts shooting, someone walks into a school and starts shooting, someone kidnaps a child skins and eats the child,,,, the person has to be mentally ill to act in that manner.
Why do law makers think passing more gun laws will fix the issue?
The real issue, and the root of the problem, is a broken legal system that can not keep mentally defective people off the streets.
If someone shows violent tendencies, or otherwise acts in a manner that is disruptive to the general public, that person is free to roam the streets until they break the law. Even if the defective person breaks the law, unless it was some vile act, chances are the person will be let back on the streets with nothing more then a slap on the wrist.
Panic Buying December 2012Please Rate This Article This post is for the sake of prosperity, and for historical purposes. I feel that it is important to document what happened politically and in the shooting sports industry shortly after the Sandy Hook school shooting. December 14, 2012 – Adam Peter Lanza fatally shot his mother, Nancy […]
You are now entering the politically incorrect zone. If this post offends you,,,, good.
I am sick and tired of mentally ill people gong on shooting sprees. What is it going to take to keep those people off the streets?
If the government can require people to have a license to hunt, drive, get married,,,, why not require the mentally ill to get a permit or license?
If the government can prohibit the ownership of gold, why not prohibit mentally ill people? President obama should issue an executive order making families turn over their mentally ill to the government.
If the US government can force Native Americans to relocate to reservations, why can’t mentally ill people be forced to relocate to a guarded facility?
If the US government can force Japanese-Americans to be detained without due process of law, why cant the government detain the mentally ill?
If various states can force undesirable people to become sterilized, why cant we do something about the mentally ill?
With the renewed call to outlaw, ban and/or restrict military style weapons, we need to keep something in mind.
The military does not buy enough M-4/M-16 rifles to keep the gun manufacturers in business. The civilian market is what keeps gun makers afloat.
Why should we care if a gun manufacturer goes out of business?
Who is going to make the firearms we need in times of war?
Sooner or later there is going to be another world war; do we want to run into a situation where our troops do not have access to the weapons they need?
Colt is currently the supplier of M-16/M-4 rifles to the military. In times of need the military could buy from any of the other AR-15 manufacturers on the market.
So lets just go ahead and drive firearms manufacturer out of business. Then lets whine and complain when our troops are using rifles left over from world war II.
What do just about all of the mass shooters for the past 20 years have in common? They were mentally ill.
It takes a mentally ill person to shoot children, so that should be a given. If these were sane rational people, they would have shot up congress.
Doesn’t it make sense to deal with the mental issues, instead of guns?
If society had some kind of social safety net, someplace where mentally ill people could be kept. Not a prison, not an insane asylum,,, something where mentally ill people could be kept safe, receive the treatment they need and protect society as a whole.
Lets treat the root issue of gun violence, and that issue is mental illness.
Here is my theory on why Americans are so violent, and its not that we love violence. When given the chance, most people pick peace and quiet over violence.
If we prefer peace over violence, why do so many people prone to violence?
My opinion, there are two factors that promote violence in our society:
1, The lack of upward mobility.
2, Violence is a learned social behavior.
There is an article on Live Science saying Murder May Spread Like Infectious Disease. That article discusses a couple of important factors, one factor says that murders are more likely to be committed in low income neighborhoods.
If you track murder like a disease, it spreads and burns itself out. But if you look at the tracking on a map, higher income areas have a lower murder rate then lower income areas.
Back in the late 1980s or early 1990s there was a story that came out of Lake Charles Louisiana about a missing girl. The community had organized search efforts, people organized, looked through wooded areas, people put up posters,,,.
The turning point was when the local police got a list of convicted sex offenders. One of the sex offenders happened to live close to the girl. When the police questioned the guy about the girl, he confessed to killing her. The girls body was still in his house.
It just so happened that the killer also volunteered to search for the girl.
What kind of sicko kills a child, then helps look for the body?
More recently there is the story of the 12 year old girl from New Jersey who was killed for her bicycle. The accused perpetrators in this act are 15 and 17 years old.
What does this say about the future of our society when children kill each other over bike parts?
There was once a time when we had to get up from our chair, or off the couch, walk over to the TV and turn the channel knob by hand. If you were lucky, the antenna picked up 4 or 5 channels. For most people, we only had 3 channels to choose from.
Today, we have satellite provided TV with hundreds of channels.
There was once a time if you wanted something to eat, you had to cook it. No microwaves, no TV dinners, now 3 minute meals. If you wanted chicken, you went into the chicken yard, got a chicken, whacked its head off with a hatchet, plucked, cleaned and then cooked the chicken.
Over the past 40 years, what has happened to our society
Men are no longer men. If we talk about manly things, we are told we are not sensitive enough.
Women are no longer women. Whatever happened to women keeping themselves slim and trim, so that she stayed attractive to her husband? Whatever happened to women breastfeeding the new baby.
What has happened to our society that we can not send the kids do the street to play without adult supervision. Barely a day goes by that news does not talk about a child being kidnapped, raped and murdered.
What is wrong with people these days?
