Next time you say the pledge of allegiance, ask yourself about the “and justice for all” part. Do we really have “justice for all” here in the USA, the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Between the 1920s and the 1970s, tens of thousands of people were sterilized with no due process of law. In a lot of cases, a social worker determined who was sterilized, and who was not. The victims had no opportunity to appeal the decision, no day in court, no due process, no nothing.
Where was their justice?
