Not able to prepare for a disaster

Over the past couple of decades there has been a disturbing trend that is becoming more and more visible. And that is families that are not able to prepare for a disaster. Its not because they do not want to, its because most people can not afford to purchase the basic essentials.

In the 1970s, 1980s and even into the 1990s most families could scrap by on one income. Starting in the 1990s – and the introduction of massive free trade – million of US jobs have been shipped overseas in favor of cheap labor. Unemployment has gone up, cost of housing, fuel and everything else has gone up. despite promises that free trade would drive prices down (that was a lie). So what can a family do?

    Libertarian Party

Now that the nation is slipping into an even deeper depression, the voters might be wondering if they made a mistake.  If you voted for the Republicans or Democrats, you made a mistake.

If you want real change.  And not the Obama type of change, then its time to cast your vote for the Libertarian Party.

Keep in mind, it took both parties to pass the income tax.  And decades later citizens are asking their congress person to do something about this tax on the poor and middle class.  And to no surprise, nothing is done.

It took both parties to pass the bailouts of the big banks.  Where a lot of the money went to bonuses.

It is taking both parties to make sure that the banks keep control of the money of this nation.

It has taken both parties to keep free trade going between china and the USA.

If you want real change, vote for someone besides the two major bloated parties.

    Political party games

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is sending out emails entitled “End the Pelosi Recession.” The first sentence of the email goes like this:

    Dear NRCC supporter,

House Republicans have pledged to stop to the “Pelosi Recession” caused by a bloated Democratic budget that spends too much, taxes too much and borrows too much.

First thing right off the bat, I am NOT a supporter of the Republican party, I vote straight line Libertarian Party.

What the letter does not mention, is that it takes both parties to pass a bill.  When the Republican has control of congress, there is usually a Democrat President. This is supposed to cause a balance in government. But does not.

The fact is, the Republican and Democratic parties are exactly the same. Even though one party says one thing, and the other party says something else – the end results are the same.

It past time for the American people to wake up, and take responsibility for what they have caused. By blindly following a party the voters have allowed corrupt lawmakers to stay in office.

Place the blame where it is supposed to go. On the shoulders of the voters. If you want “real” change, and not the Obama type of change, then its time to vote for a party besides the republicans or democrats.

The winner of the presidential election is

I would like to be the first to announce the winner of todays election, and its Twiddle Dumb. Lets all give him a warm welcome as our new Supreme Leader.

Under his reign you can expect 4 more years of:
    Higher taxes
The continued bail out of the banking system
The continued bail out of wall street
Oil companies reporting record profits – while consumers pay record prices
More unemployment – which is caused by
    More free trade
    No national health insurance
    No caps on medical expenses
Protection for companies against law suits

Regardless of whether you voted for mccain or obama, you are going to get 4 more years of the same ole stuff.

How many times do people have to vote for the two major parties before they realize there is no difference?

It took both parties to pass the North American Free Trade Agreement – NAFTA

It took both parties to pass the banking bailout scam.

It took both parties to pass the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade – GATT.

It is taking both parties to continue this war in Iraq.

It took both parties to establish the income tax.

It took both parties to send millions of our jobs to China, Taiwan and India.

It has taken both parties to increase our taxes to where they are today.

Do you realize that the average American spends about 1/2 of their income on taxes?
    1. Social Security
    2. Medicare / Mediciad
    3. Income Tax – both at the state and federal levels
    4. Property Tax
    5. Sales Tax
    6. Fuel Tax on Gasoline
    7. FCC charges on your cable TV bill
    8. FCC charges on your phone bill

And this is only part of the list.
