The Second Amendment Is Not About Hunting

AR-15 SHTF Survival Rifle

In the gun control community there is a popular statement that has been repeated for decades – “Nobody needs a 30 round magazine for hunting.” Another statement is – “Nobody hunts with an AR-15.” Then the classic – “Nobody needs an AR-15 to defend their family.”

What those people do not understand, the Second Amendment is not about hunting, and it only slightly about protecting ones home and family.

The true nature of the Second Amendment is for the people of the United States to be armed to protect themselves from their government and from invaders.

Who was the militia? Every able-bodied male.

Even though congress passed laws changing the militia from armed volunteers to the national guard, the intent of the Second Amendment remains.

The founding fathers wanted to the people to be armed in order to resist a tyrannous government. This is a last ditch effort so the people may protect themselves.

What happens when people are disarmed? Ask the 100 million people Communism killed in the 20th century alone.

Only Idiots Vote For Gun Control

Kevin Felts political commentator

Let’s say someone came to you and asked you to restrict your rights, what would you say?

For the sake of discussion, let’s say they wanted to restrict your right to vote, or your right to a jury trial, or your right to bail, or your right to go to church. What would you say?

The person would use different arguments, but the end result would be the same. Which would be limiting your rights. Letting people out on bail is to dangerous, so let’s keep people in prison until their trial date.

Why would we need a trial by jury? Let’s appoint scientist to look at the evidence and decide a persons fate. With trained professionals there is no need to have attorneys. Just present the evidence and let them decide.

How Low Can The United States Go

Kevin Felts blogger and political commentator

Its not enough that our factories have been shipped to China, its not enough the Federal Reserve prints money out of thin air,,, but now the federal government is talking about running a gun buy back program.

40 members of Congress sent House Speaker John Boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi a letter demanding a national gun buyback program.

Democrats argued, “Distributing funding to the states to run buyback programs using prepaid debit cards with a three-month expiration date could provide a jolt to local economies that have stagnated in the wake of the recession and concerns over the fiscal cliff.”

In other words, members of congress hope people are desperate enough that we are willing to sale our guns.

Give it a few more years, and if another liberal democrat gets elected, we can probably kiss our guns goodbye.

AK-47 or AR-15 Which Is Your Choice?

AK-47 AR-15 Survival Rifles

The Military Arms Channel on YouTube has posted another excellent video, this time its about what gun should someone may prefer in a post Democrat election?

For most of you the information covered in the video is very basic and boring. It goes back to whether the shooter likes the AK-47 or the AR-15 better.

There are some good points that are brought up, such as there being no domestic manufacturer of 5.45×39mm ammunition for the AK-74. This is the main reason why I have not bought an AK-74, and I do not want to stockpile yet “another” caliber.

In the video there is a comment that WASR-10 prices are in the $600 price range? I have not confirmed those prices. But if those prices are correct, we are in deep crap as the WASR-10 is made in Romania.

There are two driving factors that would drive up the price of a Romanian made products:

1, Inflation, as in the US dollar is losing value on the international market.

2, Demand is outstripping supply.
