The Second Amendment Is Not About Hunting

AR-15 SHTF Survival Rifle

In the gun control community there is a popular statement that has been repeated for decades – “Nobody needs a 30 round magazine for hunting.” Another statement is – “Nobody hunts with an AR-15.” Then the classic – “Nobody needs an AR-15 to defend their family.”

What those people do not understand, the Second Amendment is not about hunting, and it only slightly about protecting ones home and family.

The true nature of the Second Amendment is for the people of the United States to be armed to protect themselves from their government and from invaders.

Who was the militia? Every able-bodied male.

Even though congress passed laws changing the militia from armed volunteers to the national guard, the intent of the Second Amendment remains.

The founding fathers wanted to the people to be armed in order to resist a tyrannous government. This is a last ditch effort so the people may protect themselves.

What happens when people are disarmed? Ask the 100 million people Communism killed in the 20th century alone.

Only Idiots Vote For Gun Control

Kevin Felts political commentator

Let’s say someone came to you and asked you to restrict your rights, what would you say?

For the sake of discussion, let’s say they wanted to restrict your right to vote, or your right to a jury trial, or your right to bail, or your right to go to church. What would you say?

The person would use different arguments, but the end result would be the same. Which would be limiting your rights. Letting people out on bail is to dangerous, so let’s keep people in prison until their trial date.

Why would we need a trial by jury? Let’s appoint scientist to look at the evidence and decide a persons fate. With trained professionals there is no need to have attorneys. Just present the evidence and let them decide.

Connecticut Molon labe

WASR-10 AK-47 and Bushmaster AR-15

When Xerxes demanded the Spartans surrender their weapons, King Leonidas said Molon labe (translated: come and take them).

In the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting Connecticut liberal gun hating legislators passed a restrictive law demanding certain types of weapons be registered.

Numbers show the law has been pretty much ignored. Now the ball is in the court of the Connecticut lawmakers.

Faced with widespread rebellion the people and the state have one of two choices:

  • Turn law abiding citizens how have decided to ignore an unjust law into criminals
  • Repeal the law
  • Law enforcement refuse to enforce an unjust law. “Just following orders” is no excuse to blindly enforce bad laws.

Always remember the Nazis who sent millions of Jews to the gas chambers were just following orders. When those soldiers were put on trial at Nuremberg, they were found guilty of war crimes. “Just following orders” is no excuse to commit crimes against the people.

Anti-Gun Propaganda

Example of anti-gun propaganda.

What about the gun control acts of 1934 and 1968? Do the people who make this type of video have any first hand experience with firearms?

Lets place the blame where it belongs, on the mentally ill people who kill others.

Ted Bundy did not use a gun.

Jeffrey Dahmer did not use a gun.

Jim Jones did not use a gun.

But for some reason more gun laws will fix crime?

If regulations fixed problems, why are drugs on our streets?

How Low Can The United States Go

Its not enough that our factories have been shipped to China, its not enough the Federal Reserve prints money out of thin air,,, but now the federal government is talking about running a gun buy back program.

40 members of Congress sent House Speaker John Boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi a letter demanding a national gun buyback program.

Democrats argued, “Distributing funding to the states to run buyback programs using prepaid debit cards with a three-month expiration date could provide a jolt to local economies that have stagnated in the wake of the recession and concerns over the fiscal cliff.”

In other words, members of congress hope people are desperate enough that we are willing to sale our guns.

Give it a few more years, and if another liberal democrat gets elected, we can probably kiss our guns goodbye.

If a buyback program does not work, then lets look for an presidential executive order ordering people to hand in their military style firearms.

Executive Order 6102 signed on April 5, 1933, by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt forbid the hording of gold. Executive Order 6102 required all persons to deliver on or before May 1, 1933, all but a small amount of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates owned by them to the Federal Reserve, in exchange for $20.67

If FDR can issue an executive order ordering people to turn in their gold, Obama can do the same thing with military style weapons.

How long until we are nothing more then disarmed peasants?

Time To Ban The Mentally Ill

You are now entering the politically incorrect zone. If this post offends you,,,, good.

I am sick and tired of mentally ill people gong on shooting sprees. What is it going to take to keep those people off the streets?

If the government can require people to have a license to hunt, drive, get married,,,, why not require the mentally ill to get a permit or license?

If the government can prohibit the ownership of gold, why not prohibit mentally ill people? President obama should issue an executive order making families turn over their mentally ill to the government.

If the US government can force Native Americans to relocate to reservations, why can’t mentally ill people be forced to relocate to a guarded facility?

If the US government can force Japanese-Americans to be detained without due process of law, why cant the government detain the mentally ill?

If various states can force undesirable people to become sterilized, why cant we do something about the mentally ill?

AK-47 or AR-15 Which Is Your Choice?

AK-47 AR-15 Survival Rifles

The Military Arms Channel on YouTube has posted another excellent video, this time its about what gun should someone may prefer in a post Democrat election?

For most of you the information covered in the video is very basic and boring. It goes back to whether the shooter likes the AK-47 or the AR-15 better.

There are some good points that are brought up, such as there being no domestic manufacturer of 5.45×39mm ammunition for the AK-74. This is the main reason why I have not bought an AK-74, and I do not want to stockpile yet “another” caliber.

In the video there is a comment that WASR-10 prices are in the $600 price range? I have not confirmed those prices. But if those prices are correct, we are in deep crap as the WASR-10 is made in Romania.

There are two driving factors that would drive up the price of a Romanian made products:

1, Inflation, as in the US dollar is losing value on the international market.

2, Demand is outstripping supply.
