Well, well, well, good ole Dianne Feinstein just got her socialist anti-gun bill slapped down, and by one of her own. Harry Reid will not include an assault rifle and magazine ban in the newly proposed gun legislation.

The ban Feinstein wanted will be presented in a separate bill, one that will surely fail to pass.

Several member of the Democratic Party are up for reelection in 2014. A lot of those seats are in districts that vote for Republicans and Democrats. If some kind of ban does pass, it is almost assured the Democrats will lose votes, which will result in losing seats in the House and Senate.

If the Democrats lose seats in the 2014 election, Obama will be a lame duck president. With the Republican controlled congress, it is unlikely Obama will be able to get any new laws passed.

Why wont Dianne Feinsteins assault rifle ban get passed? Because our right to keep and bear arms is protected by the 2nd amendment, and there is too much money involved.

We are just now leaving a recession, the one thing the economy does not need it factories closing and hudnreds of people losing their jobs.

The problem is, liberals don to care about our rights, nor do they care about jobs, nor do they care about the economy. Lose a job? It’s ok, get some Obama care and sign up on welfare. After all, very few of the people losing their jobs live in California. So why should Feinstein care if thousands of people lose their jobs?

I think everyone who loses their jobs from a rifle ban should move to California, and then sign up on welfare. Those California liberals do not care if you have a job, so let them pay for your welfare.

Maryland is working on passing a new series of gun control laws. Some of which will endanger national security by restricting the types of magazines Beretta can import to its factories.

Consider this,

Beretta makes the M9 service pistol for the military and various law enforcement agencies.
Maryland is restricting the types of magazines Beretta can import into the state.
Maryland is restricting the types of magazines Beretta can keep in their warehouses.
Beretta being able to produce weapons and magazines for the military and law enforcement is a matter of national security.

Do the liberals not realize that Maryland will be losing jobs, and will also be jeopardizing national security if new gun laws are passed?

Who needs a job when the government provides food stamps, phones, housing and medical care?

Not only is Maryland sacrificing national on the alter of false security, but they will also be driving up unemployment and driving up taxes for those of you who still have a job.

We have a lot to talk about. Rather then break these topics down into individual post, lets jut make another random thoughts post.

Colorado has gone off the deep end with gun control. This time they want to make make sellers of semiautomatic rifles responsible for the actions of the end users.  It’s laughable what the gun hating liberals are trying to push through.  Making gun sellers responsible, is like making Ford, Toyota or GM responsible for drunk drivers.

Feinstein’s ‘assault weapon’ ban goes to committee.  When is the government going to address the real cause of gun violence?  Our nation is being overran with debt, banks are getting a steady handout of $85 billion a month from the federal reserve, Iran is working its way to becoming a nuclear power,,, and Dianne Feinstein is worried about gun control?  Holy crap, really?

A buddy of mine passed away, his memorial service is going to be March 2.

AR-15 prices are slowing coming down.  Instead of a colt 6920 costing $3,000, prices are down to around $2,000.  Other brand name ARs are floating around double their price before Sandy Hook.

While browsing the net I landed on yet another gun control article.  That article, like so many others does not address the root causes of gun violence.

Obama has thrown a fake bone to the gun hating liberal dogs.  As they slobber all over it, the liberals are too dumb to realize its a fake bone.

Does the bone address protecting our borders from illegal drugs?

The gun control bone the liberals are slobbering all over addresses nothing.

Background checks, so what?  Its not like gang members are going to go through background checks.

10 round magazines, so what?  Lets say all magazines over 10 rounds had to be turned into the government.  If law enforcement can not stop the flow of illegal drugs into the nation, how are we supposed to stop the new market for 30 round magazines?

There are 20 – 30 million illegal immigrants in the United States. But for some reason magazines will not be imported?

Do we remember what happened with prohibition?

The government has been unable to stop the flow of anything into the country – weed, crack, cocaine, heroine, booze,,, and the list goes on and gone.

But for some reason gangs and criminals will not import 30 round magazines?

Address the real issues related to gun violence

If the government “really” wanted to do something about gun violence, stop the flow of illegal drugs.

Take repeat violent offenders off the streets.

Break up the gangs.

Offer education and job training to criminals.

Offer people a way of life besides crime.

Obama, nor the liberals want to talk about the root causes of gun violence.  Instead of addressing the cause of gun violence, obama will throw the slobbering liberals a bone to keep them happy.

One thing that has surprised me after the Sandy Hook shooting is all of the hatred towards guns. This is not your typical “we need to ban guns” type of hatred that we see after a shooting, this is unbridled hatred.

This is the nazi and the jews type of hatred, pit bull attacks a baby type of hatred,,,,. If those people could, they would take every gun away, and that is absolutely crazy. Crazy that logical people have a knee jerk reaction to a tragic event.

Instead of placing the blame on the root cause of the gun violence issue, gun haters blame the tool. That is like blaming Snap-on for someone drinking and driving.

If the people are not united, can we survive as a nation?

After Waco and the Branch Davidian stand off, did gun haters want religion control?

After the financial collapse of 2008, did the gun haters want banking control?

With so many pit bull attacks every year, are the gun haters calling for pit bull control?

President Obama is having US citizens killed with no due process of law, are the gun haters outraged about that? Probably not.

How many people on the left are willing to take up arms to disarm the pro gun movement?

There has been a lot of talk from Dianne Feinstein and obama about gun control. My honest opinion on the matter, neither of them want the laws they are suggesting.

The only reason Dianne Feinstein and obama are talking about gun control, is to make the liberals happy, and to say they did “something” after the Aurora Colorado and Sandy Hook shootings.

Why would Dianne Feinstein and Obama be faking the call for gun control?
Because the proposed laws are too radical.

Proposed Gun Tax

Poll taxes were struck down. The government can not charge a fee or tax on a right. There is no fee to go to church, there is no fee or tax to vote, there is no special government fee or tax to read a newspaper or watch the evening news.

The gun control act of 1934 set reasonable limits on the ownership of fully automatic weapons. People can still own fully automatic weapons, but thy have to jump through hoops to do so.

Dianne Feinsteins proposal to pay a tax on a right will not stand up in court, and she knows it. But to make the liberal left happy, she has to introduce “something” in the wake of Sandy Hook. This is why Dianne Feinstein keeps getting relected, because she appeals to liberals.

Here is a concept I want to share with you. All of this talk about gun control is not about protecting the public, its about the law makers being scared. Law makers are scared someone will walk into their building and start shooting. Instead of students laying on the ground dead, lawmakers envision themselves being dead.

If law makers truly cared about the health and well being of the public, why is smoking still legal? Why can companies dump chemicals and nothing is done?

If law makers cared about the public, why are fish contaminated with mercury?

Gun control is not about protecting the public. If the government wanted to protect the public, outlaw cigarettes and other tobacco products. Outlaw chemicals that have been linked to attention disorders in children.

Gun control is about protecting congress from people who are fed up with government.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. People are fed up with high taxes, people are fed up with the government bailing out the banks, people are fed up with the government protecting wall street,,,, people are fed up.

Instead of worrying about gun control, maybe congress needs to stop bailing out wall street. That way law makers will not have a guilty conscience.

Armed citizens are the threat to an out of control government. That threat must be neutralized.

With a disarmed populace, government is free to do whatever they want, and without worry of recourse.

The nation is reaching a point of no return with taxes, liberalism, jobs and national debt.  We owe more money then we can ever hope to pay back, our factories have gone to china, home ownership is out of reach of most working class people,,,.

Congress is worried that when the average working class people realize how their government has screwed them over, there will be hell to pay.  As in the Adam Lanza type of hell.

The Communist Senator Dianne Feinstein is purposing all firearms be registered, and all gun owners go through a background check for said guns.

The answer is NO, I will not register my guns.

Just as reading a bible is a right, and going to church, writing a book, reading a newspaper, voting, right to due process under the law, right to trial by jury, right to legal council, right to a speedy trial,, are all rights, and so is gun ownership.

Gun ownership is a right, and will treated no differently then any other right.

When I have to register my bible, I will register my guns.

When I have to register my blog, I will register my guns.

When I have to have a permit to read a newspaper, I will register my guns.

When I have to have a permit to read a news website, I will register my guns.

The rights of the people are upheld by three courses of action – right to vote, the courts and the right to keep and bear arms. All three of which do not require a permit, nor do we have to register. Well, we have to register to vote, but that is to make sure people do not vote more then once.

There is an article on Foxnews that describes how stupid lawmakers are – States, cities mulling own assault-weapon bans, amid doubt over federal action.

The problem is not the guns, the root cause of the issue is mentally ill people and a broke legal system.

Someone walks into a movie theater and starts shooting, someone walks into a school and starts shooting, someone kidnaps a child skins and eats the child,,,, the person has to be mentally ill to act in that manner.  Sane people do not inflict violence upon others.

Why do law makers think passing more gun laws will fix the issue?

The real issue, and the root of the problem, is a broken legal system that can not keep mentally defective people off the streets.

If someone shows violent tendencies, or otherwise acts in a manner that is disruptive to the general public, that person is free to roam the streets until they break the law.  Even if the defective person breaks the law, unless it was some vile act, chances are the person will be back on the streets with nothing more then a slap on the wrist.

Everytime there is an incident of gun related violence, it seems the crazies start coming out the woodwork like roaches in a wood pile.

Do gun haters just not understand what the 2nd amendment is about, or are they just stupid?

Lets take this video about an anti-gun rally.

Place the blame where it belongs, on mentally ill people.

Jeffrey Dahmer murdered 17 people, and did not use a single gun.

Adam Lanza murdered 26 people.

What did Jeffrey Dahmer and Adam Lanza have in common? Both of them were mentally ill.

If we want to make society safe, lets keep mentally ill people locked away from the general public.  Whether its a gun, a knife, baseball bat,,,, mentally ill people will find a way to kill others.

The true purpose of the 2nd Amendment

Our forefathers established the 2nd amendment for a reason. George Washington did not write the British to death, he took up arms, established a militia, and killed the British.

This nation was founded and protected through the private ownership of guns.

Who protected New Orleans during the war of 1812? It was a bunch of men with their hunting rifles.

Who protected the United States when there was no Army, no Marines and no Navy? It was the everyday people.

If the United States were to be invaded, who would step up to protect the nation? It would be the armed citizens.

There is an old saying, the pen is mightier then the sword.

I would like to add a second part to that saying, “when the pen and the sword both fail to delivery the needed results, you pick up your rifle and the kill the enemy.”

Did the British give up because of what some newspaper wrote about King George III? The people that wrote negatively about the King of England were imprisoned. Our forefathers took up arms and killed every red coat they saw.

Did Mexico peacefully hand over Texas? It was armed citizens who beat General Santa Anna at the battle of San Jacinto on 21 April 1836 that won Texas its independence.

Hitler did not give up because of what some newspaper wrote about him. Our great grandfathers invaded Germany, bombed the hell out of it, and killed every nazi they saw. World War II was won by guns, bombs, gun powder and bullets. Pen and paper did not convince the nazis to give up.

Where did the guns for World War II come from? From factories that made civilian weapons before the war started.

It is the duty of every United States citizen to contribute something to national security. The United States will never be invaded. Why is that? Because we have 9 guns for every 10 people. No other nation in the world is as armed and ready for war as the United States.

The gun haters do not care about national security, nor do they not care about your rights.

The 2nd Amendment  does two things, it protects our nation, and it protects our government.  When the pen fails to protect the government, the 2nd Amendment ensures the people have the ability to protect the government through force.

Hitler would be proud of the anti-gun protestors.

Its not enough that our factories have been shipped to China, its not enough the Federal Reserve prints money out of thin air,,, but now the federal government is talking about running a gun buy back program.

40 members of Congress sent House Speaker John Boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi a letter demanding a national gun buyback program.

Democrats argued, “Distributing funding to the states to run buyback programs using prepaid debit cards with a three-month expiration date could provide a jolt to local economies that have stagnated in the wake of the recession and concerns over the fiscal cliff.”

In other words, members of congress hope people are desperate enough that we are willing to sale our guns.

Give it a few more years, and if another liberal democrat gets elected, we can probably kiss our guns goodbye.

If a buyback program does not work, then lets look for an presidential executive order ordering people to hand in their military style firearms.

Executive Order 6102 signed on April 5, 1933, by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt forbid the hording of gold. Executive Order 6102 required all persons to deliver on or before May 1, 1933, all but a small amount of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates owned by them to the Federal Reserve, in exchange for $20.67

If FDR can issue an executive order ordering people to turn in their gold, Obama can do the same thing with military style weapons.

How long until we are nothing more then disarmed peasants?

The federal government and wall street are going to make us homeless in the very nation that our forefathers conquered. We have slowly lost our birthright, and that birthright is to live in peace within our community, to own land, to home a home, to raise our children as we see fit.

All of the people who voted for obama, I hope you are happy. You are going to get your change, but maybe not the change you had hoped for.

As liberals and gun haters dance in the blood of children in their call for new gun laws, survivalist need to wake up. SHTF comes in a wide range of disasters. Sometimes its hurricanes, earthquakes or other natural disasters, sometimes its losing a job or financial collapse,,,.

In the case of December 2012, it was a crazy kid with a gun that gave liberals and gun haters the needed fuel to call for more gun laws.

Over the course of a few days gun stores were stripped of every AR-15 they had, and all of the ammunition they had in stock.

During a ceremony Monday morning at the Chicago Police Department graduation, Rahm Emanuel called for nation wide ban on assault-weapons.

“It’s time that we as a city have an assault weapons ban. It’s time that we as a state have an assault weapons ban. It’s time that we as a country have an assault weapons ban,”

Seems to me Rahm Emanuel needs to get his facts straight. Assault weapons have been banned and regulated since 1934.

Lets not get semi-auto firearms and full auto / selective fire firearms mixed up.

For a weapon to be deemed an “assault rifle”, it has to be capable of either selective fire in burst, or full auto. Those weapons have been banned and regulated with the National Firearms Act of 1934.

So Rahm Emanuel would have us ban something that is already banned? How is that supposed to work out?

Since Illinois has some of the highest crime rates in the nation, Rahm Emanuel discussion on gun control is null and void.

Fix the problems in your own home, then worry about your neighbors. In fact, dont bother worrying about your neighbors, we will take care of our own.
