High school senior expelled for having knife in car

Kevin Felts, blogger and political commentator

There is a recent news article that is causing a stir. It seems a young man was kicked out of school and spent 13 days in jail for having a knife in his car.

This is more than just a young man, he has completed an EMT training program. The knife was found in an EMT medical vest, which was locked in the trunk of his car.

I remember when carrying a pocket knife in school was no big deal. Especially if you were taking wood working class. Just do not take the knife out in school. There were a few times when boys had their knife out cleaning under their finger nails, or cutting on a stick, teacher walk by, say put your knife away, no big deal.

Society is turning boys into sissies.

Surprised By The Gun Haters

One thing that has surprised me after the Sandy Hook shooting is all of the hatred towards guns. This is not your typical “we need to ban guns” type of hatred that we see after a shooting, this is unbridled hatred.

This is the nazi and the jews type of hatred, pit bull attacks a baby type of hatred,,,,. If those people could, they would take every gun away, and that is absolutely crazy. Crazy that logical people have a knee jerk reaction to a tragic event.Kevin Felts, blogger and survivalist

Instead of placing the blame on the root cause of the gun violence issue, gun haters blame the tool. That is like blaming Snap-on for someone drinking and driving.

If the people are not united, can we survive as a nation?

After Waco and the Branch Davidian stand off, did gun haters want religion control?

After the financial collapse of 2008, did the gun haters want banking control?

With so many pit bull attacks every year, are the gun haters calling for pit bull control?

President Obama is having US citizens killed with no due process of law, are the gun haters outraged about that? Probably not.

Maybe We Need Less Prisons

Maybe we need less prisons and more reform. Instead of putting people in prisons, or putting them on probation where they have to pay a probation fee, maybe we need more trade schools and colleges?

Maybe we should build a school next to every public housing project? When someone enters public housing they are automatically enrolled in the attached school?

For single parents, child care would be provided so the parent can attend school.

What promoted this post? It was an article on Fox News – European courts spare accused pedophile, hacker from American justice

With over 100 million people receiving welfare, and since our prisons are full, maybe its time to reform society?

Maybe something went terribly wrong in the past 100 years? Something that has to be fixed before society breaks?

Lawmakers Ignore Root Cause Of Gun Violence

There is an article on Foxnews that describes how stupid lawmakers are – States, cities mulling own assault-weapon bans, amid doubt over federal action.

The problem is not the guns, the root cause of the issue is mentally ill people and a broke legal system.

Someone walks into a movie theater and starts shooting, someone walks into a school and starts shooting, someone kidnaps a child skins and eats the child,,,, the person has to be mentally ill to act in that manner.

Why do law makers think passing more gun laws will fix the issue?

The real issue, and the root of the problem, is a broken legal system that can not keep mentally defective people off the streets.

If someone shows violent tendencies, or otherwise acts in a manner that is disruptive to the general public, that person is free to roam the streets until they break the law. Even if the defective person breaks the law, unless it was some vile act, chances are the person will be let back on the streets with nothing more then a slap on the wrist.

The chronic infection of crime

Anyone here play the game Half-Life 2?

When the guards were chasing gordon freeman, they would say “outbreak” from time to time.

I read somewhere that the guards said “outbreak” because criminals should be treated like a disease. The longer the criminals stayed in the community, the longer they have to spread the infection. The infection being crime.

In the case of the justice being drawn out, the system is being dragged to the knees.

Just as the immune system reacts to clear an infection, so should the justice system act swiftly to remove the infection from society.

The longer the infection stays around, the more damage it does to the system as a whole.

Instead of capturing the infection and destroying it, the legal system releases the infection back into the community to do more damage.

How fast things can break downPlease Rate This Article In February 2008, some thunderstorms rolled through the town I live in, knocking out power to thousands of the local residents.  During the storm a bolt of lightening hit a transformer at the local Wal-mart.  In a larger town this might not be a problem, but […]
