Why Is There So Much Hate For Religion

On February 27, 2017 someone on a facebook page posted a picture of a bible being urinated on. The guy said he was tired of seeing bibles in hotel rooms.

I posted a comment that the guy should be banned from the group. A young lady replied to my comment claiming the the Bible was a myth and Jesus never existed. She went on to give various examples of why the Bible was not to be believed.

Whether someone does or does not believe in th Bible, GOD or Jesus, is not the issue.

The question I have, why is there so much anger directed towards a person who only taught love and good works? Jesus taught us to love one another, and people hate him of it.

Why?

Why Are Some People Full Of Rage

Dealing with the ex-wife again, this time its over a gun she claimed came up missing during the divorce.

What really happened, some people lack a single decent level of respect for other people.

Its simply amazing how someone can warp reality to believe what they want.

This world would be a better place if people would respect others. Is a little respect too much to ask? For some people, yea, asking for respect is a little too much to ask for.

The question I ask, why do people have to act that way? Is it a mental disease, too much lead in the water, genetics, mom do too many drugs while she was pregnant,,,, or something else?

What causes certain people to have a lack (or no) empathy for those around them?

Maybe its a survival thing left over from our primal existence? To survive the ice ages, maybe some people stole from others, instead of working as a team for the betterment of the community.

Does selfishness reach no end?

During the housing collapse of 2008 I think we say a good example of selfishness and a lack of empathy. To the money lenders, people were a loan number and nothing more.

Some people take their actions past empathy, and into a field of hatred.

What makes someone so angry that they lash out at everyone around them? There is no talking, there is nothing but screaming and pure rage.

How can someone live in a constant state of rage?

Most people get mad, then calm down a little while later. But there are some people who never seem to clam down, its as if their life is ruled by rage and screaming fits. How can people live like that?

How Life Choices Bite You In The Butt

Kevin Felts political commentator

When I decided to write this article I was having problems picking a title. Lately I have been doing some thinking. What promoted this was a comment posted on one of my post. The comment was in reference to some of my post sounding bitter.

I want to be honest with my readers, my poor life choices have led me on the path of bitterness.

Who is to blame for my life choices? I am.

Working In The Welding Field

In 1986 when I graduated high school I decided to enter the workforce instead of going to college. My wifes grandfather helped get me a job at a local welding shop. I should have known something was wrong when the company did not offer and kind of benefits, such as health insurance, or retirement.

In 1987 I got a job at another welding shop, but this job had lots of overtime and some benefits.

Conformist

survivalistFacebook has this feature where the site will suggest people that you may know, and you will have the option to add the suggested people to your friends list.

While I was scrolling through the list of suggested friends, I came across a name I wish to have never seen or heard spoken again for the rest of my natural life. While we were in school (junior high and high school) the guy and some other people like him were complete assholes. One person in particular taller then most of the other kids, so I guess he thought his height gave him permission to be mean to the other kids. His height just meant that he was a tall asshole instead of an average height or short asshole.

I don’t know if the guy was abused, maybe raped as a child, saw his dad push his mom around, saw his mom push his dad around,,,,,,, who knows. But one thing was for sure, he seemed to have a lot of built up anger. That anger manifested itself in the form of harassment towards other kids.

One of the reasons why I was picked on at school was because of the music I listed to, which happened to be metal. While most of my high school class was listening to 80 pop rock garbage and loving it, I was listening to metal and loving it. To the other kids, since I listened to metal, then I “must” be dong drugs, because you can not listen to metal without doing drugs – or at least that was their mindset anyway.

When other kids do not understand someone, they usually pick on the strange kid. And that is what happened to me. I listened to metal, which meant I was “magically” a drug head (which I was not), so the other kids made it a point to torment me about my alleged drug use and my taste of heavy metal.
