The United States economy will never recover

From time to time people in the news like to say “The US economy is recovering”. Well, I am here to tell you the economy of the United States will never recover.

As long as we have free trade with nations like China, the US economy will continue to free fall.

The federal reserve and the government can prop the economy up for short periods of time, but these fixes are temporary.

Article on Yahoo News – Lost Middle-Class Jobs Being Replaced by Burger-Flipping and Retail Gigs: NELP Study

For the past 2 decades we have been told the United States job market is shifting from manufacturing to service orientated jobs. Unless you are a doctor, lawyer, banker,,, someone that provides a valuable service, the service job market is going to be low wage jobs.

United States Pushed To The Edge Of No Return

Fishing Southeast Texas B A Steinhagen LakeWith the US debt deal passed, we have been pushed to the edge of no return. The US taxpayer has been beat down, the chains have been shackled and the saddle is about to be put on us. From there, we will be nothing more then debt slaves. So what caused this? Elected politicians acting like a bunch of teenage girls with their daddies credit card, thats what.

Our elected officials have spent, and spent, and spent, and spent, and spent until we are on the edge of bankruptcy. Instead of sending welfare people to college, they are sent food stamps, public housing, and welfare checks. We have built a nation of people who think they are “entitled” to something they did not work for.

Now that the national debt equals our gross domestic product, the US has been pushed to the edge of no return. We have no hope of ever paying our debt off. Over the next few years I foresee the US raising taxes on the middle class, and “maybe” the lower upper class. While big companies still do not pay their fair share and continue to move to china.

China is no longer a peasant nation, they have built an empire by selling cheap products to the US. As long as the US stays in debt, and china continues to buy that debt, there is no hope of return.

Families overwhelmed at every corner

Is it just me, or does it seem that the average American family is being overwhelmed at every corner.

A couple of days ago my stepdaughter posted on facebook she spent $345 at walmart.

That is equal to someone making $10 an hour for 40 hours minus taxes. One trip to walmart wipes out a whole weeks worth of wages.

Then there is this report from fox news that says parents are being overwhelmed by child care cost – American Parents Overwhelmed by Growing Childcare Costs | Fox Business

How are people supposed to get ahead and stay ahead when the basic cost of living keeps going up?

In 2003 I was making about the same amount of money I was making a decade earlier. But on the flip side of the coin, prices had gone up every year during that last decade.

While I was working at a welding shop in southeast Texas, at my 1 year review I was given a 25 cent raise. The cost of inflation over the past year was more then that 25 cent raise. The price of gas had gone up more over the previous year to the point where that 25 cent raise did not even cover changes to the price of fuel. I finally left that welding shop. If an employer will not even keep their wages up with the rate of inflation, then the employees are losing money.

WHO May Have Dropped The Ball With Swine Flu

Kevin Felts political commentator

On Yahoo News an article has been posted stating that the World Health Organization was slow to respond to notifications about alarming occurrences of flu and pneumonia in Mexico.

Cases in Mexico may have started as early as late March. The World Health Organization was notified on April 9th of the Swine Flu H1N1 outbreak. But the WHO did not take action until laboratories in the U.S. and Canadian identified the virus. Which was on April 24.

This means that almost a month pasted from first notification until the first response action was taken.

It seems that nothing has changed in the past 25+ years. In the early 1980s the Center for Disease Control was notified of a strange illness that was killing gay men in different parts of the USA, but mostly in California. Very little to no action was taken until the virus was isolated. During that time the HIV continued to spread. And today, more then 21 million people have been killed by HIV and the complications caused by AIDS.
