Hello, and thank you for visiting this site. My name is Kevin Felts and this is my little blog.
A couple of years ago I had a vision, or rather a dream of having a survival and disaster preparedness website and forum. At first things did not work out, mainly because I had no idea what I was doing. Building a website is a lot harder then it looks.
My first project was a website and a forum, then the second project was the same way, but with different software. It was just too much to keep up. With security updates, patches, upgrades and the backups, forum trolls,,, I was over whelmed. The forum was closed on one domain, and the website was closed on the other domain. So what we have now is a simple blog, and a Survival Forum.
If you want to read articles and watch videos, Survival Boards (this site) is the place you want to visit. If you want to interact with other people and be part of a forum, then the Survival Forum is the place you want to go. But either way, the two sites are designed to be your one stop shop for disaster preparedness information.

FTC Required Disclosure
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) now requires bloggers to disclose their relationship with companies, and individuals selling products. Whether the blogger received a payment for the product, whether the results are going to be typical,,,, just all kinds of stuff.
Since I’m not a lawyer, this is my attempt at such a disclosure.
I (Kevin) do not receive payments of any kind to review a product, if I did receive a payment it would be disclosed on a pre-review basis.
Sometimes people will send me products to review. This does not influence my opinion of the product in anyway.
When I review a product – it needs to be noted that my results and opinion might differ from other peoples. Difference in manufacturing standards, quality control, and other factors out of my control might have an impact on the final product. Just because I have a product of a certain quality, does not mean that your will be “exactly” the same.
