If there is one thing Thrunite does, they manufacturer a quality product. So far I have reviewed four Thrunite flashlights and all of them are top notch. Thrunite continues their reputation for quality with the ThruNite C2 mini-charger.
Full Disclosure: I received the charger at no cost to myself. This will not influence my opinion and hopefully will not influence your opinion either.

Why Review A Phone Charger
What does a phone charger have to do with prepping? Cell phones are our primary source of communications. How many people have a vintage plug in the wall phone? For that matter, how many people have a home phone? The vast majority of people use their cell phone over any other type of communication device.
This one is different than most other chargers. The battery can be removed and used in the Thrunite TN12 flashlight. So this portable charger can serve two purposes, charge your cell phone and power a flashlight.
A portable battery pack provides that extra charge when backpacking, hiking, camping, at the shopping mall… wherever you may be.
Phones are even offsetting hand held GPS units with hikers. Why spend a couple of hundred dollars on a GPS that has a rudimentary map, when you can use your cell phone and use google earth?
During a hot weather camping trip in July of 2016, I used my cell phone and google earth to send my location to my fiancee. I took a screen shot of my location on google earth, then sent the screen shot to her via messenger. If something happened to me, such as heat stroke, rescuers would of had my location. If my cell phone battery were dead, the option to send my location to someone would have been impossible.
Lightweight Phone Charger
My current portable phone charger weighs in at 6.45 ounces, and measures 4 1/2 inches long, 2 3/8 inches wide almost 1 inch thick. If that can be reduced down to less than half, why not? Why carry a charger that weighs 6.45 ounces when there is one available weighing just over 3 ounces?
The Thrunite C2 Mini 3400 measures 3 5/8 inches long and 1 inch thick. It is about the same thickness as my thumb.
The C2 Mini 3400 uses the same battery that can be used in the Thrunite TN12, which is the ThruNite 3400mAh 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery. This is pretty cool that you can charge your phone or take the battery out and put it in your flashlight.
I like stuff that is compatible with other gear. This is why so much of my stuff uses AA batteries. AA batteries in my flashlight, GPS, and flashlight, such as the Thrunite Archer. Having a battery that can power a flashlight and charge my cell phone is a big plus. Rather than having a single device that uses a special battery, being able to use the battery in multiple devices is a bonus.
The Thrunite C2 has a built in battery charger, so there is no need to buy a special charger. Just take the included USB cable, plug it into your computer or wall adapter and let it charge.
When the 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery is fully charged, an led on the battery pack will blink blue. When the battery needs to be charged, it will blink red.
I took the ThruNite 3400mAh 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery out of the battery pack and put it in my Thrunite TN12 flashlight. The flashlight was set it its brightest setting of turbo, which is 1050 lumens.
After 69 minutes the TN12 started flashing twice every few seconds. I guess this is a way of saying the batteries are getting low. There has been a considerable reduction in brightness and the bezel is no longer hot to the touch. At around three hours and ten minutes the Thrunite TN12 finally ran out of juice. Three hours and ten minutes when we started the test with the flashlight on its brightest setting is pretty good, at least to me.
The battery pack was fully recharged and then used to charge my phone while streaming Iheart radio and working around the farm. I pulled up an old fence-line and was listening to 80s hits.
The ThruNite C2 mini-charger has the typical Thrunite quality.
I like that the battery can be taken out and used in a flashlight.
Battery life is what one would expect from a 3400 mah battery.
I like that the battery pack is a self-contained unit. It charges the battery without the battery having to be removed.
