Why is the bible hated? Because it speaks the truth. The undeniable truth that we should love one another.
Why do so many people try to discredit the bible
When we have a limited amount of information from a time period, and that information is discredited, what are we left with?
If we discredited Caesar’s commentaries on the Gallic wars, what would we be left with? Are we to say the commentaries are a work of fiction? How do we prove the Gallic wars ever happened? Besides writing, what do we have to prove that Julius Caesar ever lived?
Why don’t people dispute Buddha like they do Jesus?
Why don’t people dispute George Washington like they do Jesus?
As far as we know, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were elaborate myths constructed by people at the time.
Why do so many people try to disprove the bible, and call Jesus into question? Because their hearts are filled with anger and hatred.
The bible is held to a different set of standards then other history books.
The question is, why do so many people try to discredit the bible, but other works are accepted as fact?
Why do people hate the bible
In the minds of the elitist, the human race is the highest ranking species there is. We are the smartest and the most advanced species to ever walk the face of the earth.
To admit that there is a higher being would crash their little arrogant universe. Having to admit there is a GOD would be an insult to the arrogant hordes.
The fool hath said in his heart, there is no GOD. To deny GOD is to deny hope, hope that all we live for is the here and now.
