These pictures were taken by a trail camera that detects motion. The camera is in a weather proof housing that is strapped to a tree. Some cameras use a bracket that screws into the tree. When removed, the bracket leaves a hole that disease, insects and parasites can get into. To prevent damage to the tree, rubber straps were used to attach this camera.
